Statement
My art is evidence of my search for designs, subject matter, and techniques, that when combined, form a captivating piece of fine art. Exploring deviations from the traditional approach to painting is important to me, so a separate series of paintings melding alla prima paintings with the square began in December of 2007. Each new canvas brings me to the exact place that every painter throughout history has been. It is blank, white, and two-dimensional. It contains the promise of a new learning experience, and an opportunity to complete a piece of art that viewers will be drawn to forever.
